WSUS 3.0 SP2 unter Windows Server 2008 R2

Hi an alle...

ich habe ein Problem mit dem WSUS 3.0 SP2! Irgendwie lässt dieser sich nicht auf meinem 2008 R2 server installieren.

Ich habe über versucht den WSUS über die Rollen zu installieren. Allerdings bricht der install immer ab und spuckt mir folgendes log aus

Hi Dani,

habe die ganzen Seiten, welche du mir geschrieben hast, durchprobiert.

Allerdings funktioniert der Install trotzdem noch nicht.... irgendwie ist das extrem komisch face-sad

Hi,
das ist in der Tat seltsam....läuft sonst noch ein Rolle bzw. Programm auf diesem Server?! Ansonsten würde ich eine Neuinstallation anstreben. Denn da ist wohl ordentlich was falsch gelaufen!

hm... ich hab den server jetzt schon 4-5 mal neu installiert! Ist die einzigste Rolle, die installiert ist/werden soll face-smile

hab auch schon die SQL instanz 3 mal neu aufgestezt... weil lokal lässt er sich nämlich installieren, der WSUS!

also ich habe heute Morgen einen W2k8 x64 Enterprise installiert, alle Updates heruntergeladen, in Domäne aufgenommen und die WSUS-Rolle installiert - läuft 1A. face-smile
Benutzt ihr die Windows Internal Database oder einen echten SQL-Server?!

weil lokal lässt er sich nämlich installieren, der WSUS!
Na wie kann man sonst noch WSUS installieren?

Damit meinte ich, dass es mit einer Windows Internal Database funktioniert... mit der SQL 2008 Instanz aber leider nicht!

Jetzt kommen wir der Sache näher...davon hast du bisher kein Wort verloren.Bei mir war es WID und Server 20R2.

Ich habe eben testweiße eine VM hergenommen und SQL Server 2008 mit SP1 installiert und danach den WSUS über die Rolle. Was soll ich sagen, läuft... face-smile

Ich habe zuerst SQL 2008 x64 installiert und den aktuellen SP nachgezogen. Dann per "Serververwaltung" -> Rolle hinzufügen den WSUS installiert.
Den Servicepack von SQL 2008 hast du vorher installiert?

So, wir haben hier ja Gott sei Dank genügend Kapazitäten um mal kurz 2 Windows Server 2008R2 aus dem Boden zu Stampfen. face-smile
Was soll ich sagen, nun habe ich den selben Fehler wie du - sieht nach einem (gewollten) Bug aus.

In diesem Fall hilft wohl nur ein Call bei Microsoft aufzumachen.
