2 Festplattenprobleme unter Ubuntu
1.Problem:
Unzwar habe ich gestern die Maxtor Shared Storage II bekommen.
Unter Vista und XP gibt es keine Probleme weitgehend.
Unter Ubunut aber wird diese Platte gar nicht erkannt. Ich kann zwar mit Wine den EasyManager (Quick Start) installieren aber erkannt wird sie dann trotzdem nicht. Mit Gparted wird sie auch nicht gesehen.
2.Problem:
Ich verfüge noch über eine Samsung- Platte (250gb) welche von Gparted als Unbekannt erkannt wird. Dateisystem ist NTFS.
Ich hatte schon vorher mit dieser Platte auch unter XP probleme aber nur anfangs. Durch eine Diskette war dieses Problem behoben. Vorher wurden nur ca. 30 Gb von 250 erkannt durch die Diskette halt das normale Volumen.
Falls ihr irgendwelche Konsolenbefehle verlangt werde ich sie natürlich ausführen und dann hier posten.

ich forsche gerade weiter nach und stelle fest, dass dies wohl leider auch nicht funktionieren wird.
Problematisch ist wohl das Dateisystem onTrackDM6 (OnTrack DiskManager). Die einfachste Möglichkeit sollte es sein, die Daten von der Platte zu sichern (Z.B. unter Windows), anschliessend die Partition zu löschen und mit einem vernünftigen Dateisystem (und ich meine nicht ntfs) neu anzulegen und die daten wieder raufzuschieben. Der Zugriff auf z.B. NTFS gestaltet sich auch unter Ubuntu bedeutend einfacher als OnTrackDM6.
Hast du die Möglichkeit die Daten auszulagern?

Ich hätte schon Platz zum auslagern aber ehrlich gesagt wollte ich formatieren vermeiden. Lust zum ganzen neuinstallieren hab ich wirklich nicht.
Mir ist nicht ganz klar, was auf der 250GBPlatte drauf ist. Ein OS? Aber nicht Ubuntu, da die Systempartition sdc5 ist.

Ja auf der 250GB Platte ist unter anderem XP, Ubuntu ist auf der Platte, wo sich Vista befindet bloß halt partitioniert.
