SBS2008 console hängt sich auf

Hallo zusammen,

nach einer längeren Suche im WWW lande ich wieder mal mit meiner Frage hier.
Ich hoffe Ihr könnt mir auch dieses Mal helfen:

Folgende Situation:

Ein SBS2008 auf dem ganz normal der WSUS 3 SP2 installiert ist.

Eine gewisse Zeit habe ich den WSUS selbst verwaltet ( also nicht über die Console ).( Ja ich weiß ! BöseBöse!!)

Ich habe soweit alles wieder so eingestellt, dass ich jetzt doch wieder die Verwaltung über die Console machen kann. Leider aber nur
bis zu einem bestimmten Punkt. Sobald ich unter Updates auf den Punkt "Einstellungen für Softwareupdates ändern" gehe, dann schmiert mit die Console ab
ich bekomme das Fenster ( Windows SBS2008 console funktioniert nicht mehr ) mit der Frage " Programm neu starten" oder " Im Netz nach einer Lösung suchen". (eine Lösung gibt es dort allerdings nicht).

Vielleicht kennt ja jemand diese Problem und kann mir helfen?
Ich habe zwar zwei Einträge bei Google darüber gefunden, aber keines führte zu einer Lösung .. irgendwann gab es einfach keinen Eintrag mehr.
