Supermicro, LSI MegaRaid und GPT
Moin,
wir habe einen neuen Server u.a. mit einem Supermicro Board X9SRH-7TF und ein Megaraid-Controller LSI 8400-4i,
nun ist das Ziel die 4 Platten zu einem Raid5 und anschließend OS auf 2 Partitionen (500GB / ~5,3TB) einzurichten.
Problem:
Im Bios wird im Legacy-Mode der Raidcontroller erkannt, im UEFI-Mode nicht, das wiederum hat die Auswirkung, das
GPT (statt MBR) auch nicht zu Verfügung und damit auch keine Partition größer als 2TB sein kann.
Frage:
Ist das Problem bekannt, kennt ein Tipp oder kann uns auf eine Seite verweisen auf eine Lösung beschrieben wird ?
