One of the issues I ran into was getting this to work on my internal network. When you setup the WSE Remote Web Access, you are given a web domain like myserver.remotewebaccess.com that points to your router’s external IP address. WSE updates the DNS if you IP address changes. The problem is that you will need to make an RDP file that will work with a single domain, such as myserver.remotewebaccess.com and the routing doesn’t work when you’re on the internal network. 

To fix this, we need to add a DNS entry to the router that points to the internal IP address of you WSE server. I'm using DD-WRT which runs DNSMasq. In the web portal of DD-WRT, go to the Services page and find the DNSMasq section. In the Additional DNSMasq Options field, enter a new DNS entry like “address=/myserver.remotewebaccess.com/192.168.1.5” where myserver.remotewebaccess.com is the name of your own web domain and 192.168.1.5 is the internal IP address of your WSE server. Then save and apply your settings.
