AD was sind Untergeordnete Domänen und Strukturdomänen
Hallo zusammen,
Ich stehe etwas auf dem Schlauch. Man Kann bei der Domänenerstellung von Domänen innerhalb eines Forests wählen zwischen Untergeordnete Domänen und Strukturdomäne. Siehe z.B. da: https://learn.microsoft.com/de-de/windows-server/identity/ad-ds/deploy/i ...
Ich lese aber nichts zum Unterschied zwischen den beiden. Kann da jemand z.B. mit einem Link aushelfen?

Am besten benutze die englischen Begriffe dann wird es IMHO klarer:
Child Domain = Untergeordnete Domäne
Tree Domain = Strukturdomäne

Child domain shares the same Domain naming master & schema master role & it inherits namespace of parent domain. In child domain, you don't have Enterprise admin account, it exists in parent domain only for most of the configuration. trust between parent & child is Parent-child two way transitive trust.Like Parent is ABC.com, the child domain will be XYZ.ABC.com
If you don't want to inherit parent domain name, you use new tree in the forest like parent is ABC & you can have new tree as XYZ.com.Tree root domain have their own Enterprise admin group to manage their own AD. trust between Root & tree is Tree-Root two trust. Domain tree shares same SM & DNM role in the forest

Ich habe den Begriff "Strukturdomäne" so auch noch nicht gehört.
Hier ist gemeint: Eine neue Struktur, ein neuer Baum innerhalb einer vorhandenen Gesamtstruktur.
Bsp:
1. Installierte Domäne = Stammdomäne (forest root domain) der Gesamtstruktur (Forest)
Name domain.tld
nächste untergeordnete Domäne wäre (chlid domain)
abc.domain.tld
nächste "Strukturdomäne" oder neuer Baum wäre (tree root domain)
andererbaum.tld
nächste untergeordnete Domäne des anderen Baums wäre (child domain)
xyz.andererbaum.tld
Alle wären in einer Gesamtstruktur (Forest). D.h. für alle gelten die Organisations-Admins, Schema-Admins usw., welche nur einmalig in domain.tld existieren.
