False MDW - I dont like access

Hey,

hat jemand schon mal den Fehler in MS Access gesehen?

ihatemsaccess

Diese Meldung kommt sobald ich den Inhalt aktiviere und Access schmiert ab.

Hi,
could be that the *.mdw (WorkgroupFile) is missing, is the wrong one, or it's corrupted.

Could be corrupted.
I copied all files in a new directory because of testing.
Can you help.
What do I have to modify to bring it back to work?

This could be the problem, perhaps a hard coded "path" in the macro project, or you forgot coping a file because it's hidden or a systemfile.
What do I have to modify to bring it back to work?
For that i would need the complete database - could be a lot of things ...

Have a look inside the makro project (ALT-F11) and watch for hard coded paths.

Contact the developer who coded the database!

That's no Option.

Hallo

auch eine *.MDW kann in MS-Access geöffnet werden (Datei Öffnen) um sie mittels "Reparieren / Komprimieren" eventuell wieder 'brauchbar' zu machen.
(Normalerweise wird diese automatisch verwendet, weil so konfiguriert oder man kann MSAccess.exe /wrkgrp <Dateiname>.MDW eine Verwendung erzwingen).
