Hilfe bei Installation von Installshield Tuner für Adobe
Hallo Forum,
ich habe ein Problem mit dem Install Tuner!
Nach der Installation auf einer WinXP Prof Kiste, öffne ich das Programm unter Start->Programme->Installshield Tuner 6.01 Adobe
und beim Öffnen fragt er mich nach einer ITW.Datei TunerConfigurationFile oder so.
Ich habe aber noch gar nix erstellt, ergo kann ich auch solch eine Datei nicht haben. Wenn ich statt öffnen abbrechen klicke, wird das Prog geschlossen.
Wie um Himmelswillen kann ich eine MSI oder MST DAtei von Acrobat Reader erstellen???

ich hatte das gleiche Problem und habe bei Adobe angerufen. Es sieht so aus dass es sich bei meiner Version um ein Update Produkt handelt. Für Update Produkte stehen die itw Dateien nicht zur Verfügung und sind auch nicht zu bekommen.
Also: Vollversion kaufen.

To convert a Web install into a CD install:1 Download the appropriate Adobe Reader 6.0 from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html to the same system on which you loaded Tuner.2 Launch the Web Installer.
The Netopsystems Fast Electronic Application Distribution (FEAD) Optimizer notifies you that it is recomposing data.3 When the FEAD finishes recomposing, the Welcome to the Setup Wizard for Adobe Reader 6.0 appears.
Do not click Next.4 Navigate to the Adobe Reader 6.0 install directory located in the Windows Cache (%Windows%\Cache\Adobe Reader 6.0\XXXBIG): %system root%\Cache\Adobe Reader 6.0\XXXBIG. The XXX should be replaced with the appropriate three-letter language abbreviation (ENU = English, FRA = French, DEU = German, and JPN = Japanese).
5 Copy the entire contents of this directory into a new desktop directory named, for example, ?Adobe Reader 6.0.?
Danach hast du einen Ordner mit einer ITW Datei.

Hallo,
das gilt nur für den Acrobat Reader. In meinem Fall war es der Acrobat 'Writer' Standard, als Update Version von Version 5 auf 6.
Vielen dank für das Angebot, ich werde wohl das Adobe Produkt meiden.
