Platte online schalten bei RAID
Hallo
Gruss

Answer
The process steps for replacing a failed RAID-1 or RAID-5 array drive are as follows:
Using SMOR Configuration Utility to replace the failed hard disk drive.
1. Remove and replace the failed hard disk drive according to the procedure in the computer hardware documentation. The drive must be set to the same SCSI ID as the originally failed drive. The drive must also be the same size or larger. If the drive is not, then it will not allow the RAID to be rebuilt.
2. Boot the system selecting the Ctrl+A to enter the SMOR Configuration Utility option.
3. On the left side highlight the Array icon.
4. Hold down the Alt key and press the 'R' key to see vertical RAID menu.
5. Select the Rebuild option to start the process to reconstruct the replaced drive from the existing good members (drives) in the array.
Using the Storage Manager Pro software to replace the failed hard disk drive.
1. Replace the hard disk drive according to the procedures in your hardware documentation.
2. Boot into the Operating System.
3. Start the Storage manager Pro software.
4. Select the local system icon and select Open System to display the array information.
5. Choose the Logical Configuration View in Storage Manager Pro.
6. Double click the array group icon to open the Array Group Information window.
7. Click Rebuild in the Array Group Information window to start the Rebuild process.
Note: The drive will display a flag to indicate that the rebuild process operation has started. The percentage of completion is displayed until the rebuild is completed.
