Wie komme ich ins Service-Menü bei einem HP CP5225dn?
Hallo allerseits,
im Service-Handbuch für die Drucker der Serie HP CP522x steht eine Prozedur beschrieben, die angeblich ins "Secondary Service Menu" führt:
1. Ensure the product is in the Ready state.
2. Press the OK button to open the menus.
3. Simultaneously press Left arrow and the OK button to open the secondary service menu.
4. Press the Left arrow and the Right arrow to navigate through the menu.
Bei unserem CP5225dn funktioniert dies nicht. Ich vermute, daß der Drucker vorher in einen speziellen Modus versetzt werden muß; leider habe ich dazu nichts gefunden.
Am Anfang der Seite, auf der obige Prozedur beschrieben ist, steht noch:
Use the secondary service menu to print service-related reports and to run special tests. Customers do not have access to this menu.
Was muß ich unternehmen, um Zugriff auf dieses Menü zu erhalten?

Open the secondary service menu
1. Ensure the product is in the Ready state.
2. Press the OK button to open the menus. You must be in menu
3. Press Left Arrow and X (cancel button) at the same time.
4. Press the OK button and you have access to the secondary menu structure
Das "OK" in Step 3 ist bei dir also fehlerhaft.

Erst einmal vielen Dank für den Tip! Leider hatte ich das schon gemacht. Genauer gesagt: Zuerst habe ich die Prozedur "Restore the factory-set defaults" durchgeführt, danach auch die Prozedur "Perform a super NVRAM initialization". Leider hat dies nicht weitergeholfen. Soll ich nochmals den Factory Reset durchführen (ohne NVRAM Reset) und es nochmals versuchen?

Klasse, hat funktioniert. Gibt's da noch mehr, das dem normalen User nicht zugänglich ist?
Ja, aber für Ottonormaluser ohne Service-Vertrag bekommst du die dafür nötige Software nüscht

Du hast natürlich wieder recht. Ich nahm an, das Service-Handbuch für die "CP5220 series" sei das richtige. Ein Service-Handbuch für die "CP5225 series" habe ich bei den üblichen Verdächtigen nicht gefunden ...
