Ältere Outlook Versionen und Exchange-Online wie lange nutzbar
Hallo,
Outlook 2013 mit allen Updates kann sich weiterhin mit Exchange Online verbinden oder?
Outlook 2016 auf jeden Fall, nur mit muss man einen bestimmten Patch haben. (outlook2016-kb4493226-fullfile-x86-glb.exe)
Beide Produkte sind offiziell nicht mehr M365 supported.
Gut möglich das ich falsch gegoogelt habe, wollte nur wissen ob Outlook 2016 mit Exchange Online im Oktober 2025 streikt.

Richtig. Erst ab 2021 LTSC gibt es Support für die MS 365 Dienste. Alles andere ist experimentell.

New minimum Outlook for Windows version requirements for Microsoft 365
After November 1, 2021, only Outlook 2013 Service Pack 1 (with latest fixes) and later will be able to connect to Microsoft 365 services. It’s worth noting here that Outlook 2007, 2010, and Office 2013 versions earlier than 15.0.4971.1000 *and Office 2016 versions earlier than 16.0.4600.1000 aren’t supported now, but we know some customers just can’t quit them.
- The block has started rolling out for Outlook 2013 users (on versions earlier than 15.0.4971.1000) on February 28, 2022 and will proceed in a phased rollout.
- The block will start rolling out for Outlook 2016 MSI users (on versions earlier than 16.0.4600.1000) & Outlook for Microsoft 365 users (on versions earlier than 16.0.8321.1000) on March 28, 2022 and will proceed in a phased rollout.

Wissen kann man das nicht, nur vermuten, und vermutlich wird es noch laufen. Offizielles Statement dazu von Microsoft:
Older Office versions not supported for connecting to Microsoft 365 services
Older Office versions might still be able to connect to Microsoft 365 services, but that connectivity isn't supported. In practical terms, what this means is that older Office versions might not be able to use all the latest functionality and features of Microsoft 365 services. In addition, over time, these older versions might encounter other unexpected performance or reliability issues while using Microsoft 365 services. This situation occurs because improvements to Microsoft 365 services don't consider or test compatibility with these older Office versions. No active measures are made to block older Office versions from connecting to Microsoft 365 services if they're in extended support and are kept up to date. For example, Office 2019 and Office 2016, both of which are in extended support until October 14, 2025.

Also vermutlich wird es weiter laufen, möglicherweise mit Einschränkungen. Da Microsoft aber an anderer Stelle durchaus rigoros alte Zöpfe abschneidet, ist es auch möglich, dass der Zugang zu EXO aktiv unterbunden wird (meist begründet mit Sicherheitserwägungen, was bei alten Outlook-Versionen, wo keine Sicherheitslücken mehr gefixt werden, auch nicht von der Hand zu weisen Ist).
