E-mail problem with MAPI32 at Microsoft Office365 with our ERP-Software
Our ERP software is programmed in C ++ (Borland 5.x) and is a 32-bit application.
This runs smoothly with all Windows versions and with all SQL databases via ODBC!
We have been using MAPI32.DLL for many years to access and open the local email account directly.
With Microsoft Office365 at the latest, our program is simply terminated when the MAPI32.DLL is called by our program, which means that the program is terminated!
Are there any known actions I can take to resolve this issue?
It is to be expected that Microsoft will adapt the MAPI32.DLL accordingly. I think there are still many 32-bit programs around the world that may have the same problem.
It would be nice if i could get answers to our problem!
Greetings Werner Hildebrandt

With such less information no one can help, please integrate a logging procedure in your application to see what is the problem with your code! With Microsoft Office365 at the latest, our program is simply terminated when the MAPI32.DLL is called by our program, which means that the program is terminated!

Sure, please read the docs how to use MAPI correctly in the best practices paper of the manufacturer and correct your code accordingly:https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/office-developer-client-docs/blob/maste ...

Good morning Werner,
it makes no sense to open the same topic twice and now in English. I would suggest to discuss this further in your other thread: E-Mail Problem mit MAPI32 bei Microsoft Office365 aus Warenwirtschaft Software
