Mikrotik Switch konfigurieren
Hallo zusammen,
Ich möchte gerade bei uns einen neuen Mikrotik Router (Routerboard hAP AC Lite) installieren und habe mich gefragt wie das Funktioniert das man dieses Routerboard Quasi auch als Switch verwenden könnte und habe die von Mikrotik etwas neuere Funktion "Switch" gefunden und wollte nun Fragen ob mir irgendjemand hier eine Kurzanleitung geben kann wie man diese "Switch" funktion Konfiguriert.

Hi.
Do not touch any settings in the switch menu!
Now your router works as a simple Layer2-switch between all it's ethernet ports.
Regards
- Reset the configuration and do not load the defaults
- Now open WinBox and connect to the router via it's MAC-Address.
- For simplicity and later configuration, give the router an IP-Address out of your subnet in IP -> Address on interface eth1.
- Now go to Interfaces and double click eth2. Set the option master to eth1.
- Repeat the last step for eth3-5 but not eth1. In eth1 the master option has to be set to none. So all but eth1 have to point to eth1 as master interface.
Do not touch any settings in the switch menu!
Now your router works as a simple Layer2-switch between all it's ethernet ports.

Danke für die schnelle Antwort habe es bei einem Testrouter jezt auch versucht und es funktioniert gut werde ich beim nächsten Kunden vermutlich verwenden.
Habe es aber heute nocheinmal mit Bridge's gemacht!

Take in mind that bridges are way slower than a switch group!! That's because all packets then go through the CPU-Port, so every traffic increases CPU usage on the router much more than using a switch group where the switch chip manages it's traffic! If speed is priority you should always prefer switch groups instead of using bridges.
