FreeRadius mit EAP-TLS Authentifizierung Fehler beim Login mit Zertifikat

ich wurde beauftragt das WLAN in unserem Unternehmen zu implementieren.
Dabei habe ich mich für die Umsetzung mittels Freeradius EAP-TLS auf FreeBSD entschieden.

Das Ziel ist es, dass sich die Endgeräte mit einem Zertifikat ohne Credentials beim Radius authentifizieren können und auf das WLAN zugreifen können.
Oder, dass beim Einloggen mit Credentials, das Zertifikat auf Gültigkeit usw... geprüft wird.
Jetzt funktioniert die Authentifizierung mit Credentials und die Verbindung über EAP-TLS. Wer gültige Credentials hat, kann sich also anmelden.
Ist es möglich einem User eine MAC-Adresse zuzuordnen?

Problembeschreibung:
Die Zertifikate habe ich wie in der Anleitung beschrieben, auf dem Endgerät (stinknormales Windows Notebook) installiert.
Beim Erstellen des Zertifikats für das Endgerät habe ich auf den Common Name geachtet und dieser ist jeweils in der /usr/local/etc/raddb/mods-config/files/authorize als
User hinterlegt. Ich habe auch schon mehrere Variationen ausprobiert leider ohne Erfolg.

Hier habe ich gelesen, dass ich ein Script brauche um das Zertifikat zu prüfen.

Dummerweise ist das Script dort nicht beschrieben und ich weiß auch nicht wo ich dort anfangen soll.

Selbstverständlich habe ich mir den Logauszug durchgelesen aber ich weiß nicht warum "Login incorrect" ausgegeben wird.

Kann mir jemand weiter helfen oder hat jemand einen Tipp für mich?

Vielen Dank für deine Links!
Ich habe die gesamte Konfiguration noch mal überprüft und habe dann ein neues Userzertifikat (Tomate.p12) für das
Notebook erstellt. Der CN des Zertifikats ist ebenfalls Tomate und in der Authorize Datei ist der User Tomate eingetragen.
Dann habe ich das wieder auf dem Notebook installiert und ein bisschen getestet. Weil ich ein bisschen frustriert
war, habe ich das ganze mal mit meinem Smartphone (Android) ausprobiert.

Beim Smartphone konnte ich einfach TLS auswählen, CA-Zertifikat, Userzertifikat und Benutzernamen hinterlegen.
Über das Smartphone funktioniert es genauso wie es sein soll! Sprich ohne Zertifikat ist kein Login möglich.

Wie nehme ich nun die Einstellungen am Windows Notebook vor?
Wie ich bis jetzt vorgegangen bin:
Systemsteuerung> Netzwerk und Internet> Netzwerk- und Freigabecenter
Dann habe ich versucht über Neue Verbindungen oder neues Netzwerk einrichten die WLAN Verbindung manuell
einzurichten. Ich kann dort leider nur Microsoft: Smartcard- oder anderes Zertifikat, Microsoft: Geschützes EAP
(PEAP)
, EAP-TTLS und EAP-TEAP auswählen. Wenn ich ersteres auswähle, bekomme ich immer den Fehler von
Windows: Die Verbindung ist nicht möglich, Sie benötigen ein Zertifikat, um sich anzumelden. Wobei ich ein
Zertifikat angegeben habe. Dabei kommt auch nichts beim Radius Server an. Bei den anderen Auswahlmöglichkeiten
habe ich jede Eventualität getestet. Leider hat keine Funktioniert.

Ist das ein klassisches Windowsproblem oder hab ich etwas übersehen?
