Bluescreen während Windows Neuinstallation!

Nachdem ich meine Festplatte formatiert habe und nun eine komplett neue Windows XP Installation durchführen wollen, doch bricht die Installation jedes mal während des Vorgangs ab und folgender Bluescreen erscheint:
"A problem has been detected an windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follwo these steps:
Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver to check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters.
Chck with your hardware vendor to any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching (?) or shadowing (?). If you need to use Safe Mode to remove ...

Wer kann mir weiterhelfen, weiß leider nichtmehr weiter, jede Neuinstallation wird abgebrochen, mal früher, mal später. Hab an der allgemeinen Hardwarekonfiguration nichts verändert, funktionierte zuvor einwandfrei. Leider wurde der Rechner von einem Virus befallen und stürzte immer wieder - daher hab ich eine Generalkur vorgenommen!

Hi
ich tippe mal auf defekten Speicher bzw. defekte Festplatte vor dem nächsten mal installieren erst mal testen. z.B. memtest und dem tool vom Plattenhersteller. kannst beides von der diskette starten.
