Gibt es Wildcard-Wildcard-Zertifikate?

Hallo,

gibt es öffentliche Wildcard-Wildcard-Zertifikate?

also *.*.firma.de.
z.B: xyz.abd.firma.de.

Ich kenne nur *.abd.firma.de.
z.B: xyz.abd.firma.de.

dann braucht man für
abd.firma.de
abe.firma.d.
abf.firma.de
aber 3 WC-Zertifikate.

Ich meine eine Wildcard wie *.domain.tld ist nicht nach links auf eine (weitere) Subdomain beschränkt. Es wird dir aber niemand so ein Zertifikat geben, wenn es mehr Wert hat/haben soll als z.B. ein LE Zertifikat.

Doch, der Wildcard gilt für exakt eine Ebene.
Zertifikate mit mehreren Wildcards werden aktuell nicht wie WC-Zertifikate interpretiert — das habe ich mit internen Zertifikaten bei uns schon ausprobiert.

Bleibt nur, mehrere WC-Zertifikate zu besorgen oder Zertifikate mit Wildcard-SAN und entsprechend vielen SAN-Wildcard-Hosts.
