Port Forwarding Debug

Hi I am having problem in port forwarding with Huawei HG8546M.

I forwarded some ports by referring to various tutorials on the internet but it is still not working.

Everything seems to be correct but I am not able to connect to my server.

I tried to connect in many ways like:-

192.168.100.5:8800

100.64.56.128:8800 { router ip address }

103.207.82.61:8800 { my pc public ip. from www.purevpn.com/what-is-my-ip}

the first two address work fine while connecting from inside the wifi network but does not work when I try to connect via another network or cellular network.

the third address 103.207.82.61:8800 does not work on any network.

I also tried configuring the ddns through noip .com following its guide but that too doesn’t work.

Hi
100.64.56.128:8800
You have the same problem like this guy ...
FritzVPN über Mobilfunk O2 LTE verbinden geht nicht, über WLAN läuft es
Your router is behind a carrier grade NAT barrier from your internet provider and thus never directly reachable via IPv4
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrier-grade_NAT
So go and rent a VPS as a jump host with public IP or subscribe to a tunnel provider. Or if you are in a public network with IPv6 connectivity you can use IPv6 and a home device like a raspberry pi as a VPN responder in your home network.

Regards.
k.

the third address 103.207.82.61:8800 does not work on any network.
Because it's the public facing NAT-Router IP from your provider where you are not able to define port forwards face-wink.

The above thread form @145033 points into the correct direction. Most likely your provider is using a CGN. If yes than there is no chance to connect from outside do your local network via port forwarding. Its clear, cause you cannot traverse the central NAT gateway of the provider.
The Huawei router is a GPON router, so for fiber providers and their customers. The majority of those providers use CGN due to the lack_of_IPv4_addresses in Europe. You can easily check this if you look onto the router itself and his WAN port address. This is for sure an RFC1918 private IP address in your case which then proofs its a CGN provider and what you see with www.myexternalip.com etc. is the public IP address of the central provider CGN and not your indivudual router.
So before getting too much grey hair you should check that waterproof if you are a possible CGN victim or not.
