WireGuard VPN and Intel QAT

Hallo zusammen,

vor gut zwei Jahren bekam der Intel QAT Treiber 2.0 einen Patch, so dass er auch den
Chacha20-Poly Algorithmus von WireGuard unterstützt
Add Chacha20-Poly1305 algorithm to QAT

Und wenn man nun mittels DPDK Software anweist eben diesen Treiber zu benutzen,
dann kann auch die WireGuard Fangemeinde, die pfSense+ (Plus) oder gar TSNR
benutzt davon profitieren.

Mal sehen was daraus wird ich bin mal gespannt ob das so zum Tragen kommt.
Erst müsste ja eigentlich der QAT Treiber 2.0/2.1 und DPDK in FreeBSD einziehen
und eben diese Version müsste dann pfSense als Unterbau (Basis) bekommen,
damit man das so nutzen kann.
